The Cell Therapy Analytical Development group at BMS is seeking a motivated individual to perform routine functional characterization of CAR‑T and gene edited cells used in cell therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flow cytometry and cell biology as well as an enthusiastic attitude and desire to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine analysis of cell product for quality attributes using flow cytometry and cell‑based assays.

  • Design, plan, execute, and analyze lab experiments.

  • Manage inventory of samples and materials and ensure proper handling and storage.

  • Maintain proper documentation of experimental results using an electronic lab notebook.

  • Summarize and present scientific data; report results to project teams.

  • Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 0‑2 (MS) or 3+ years hands‑on experience with cellular analytical techniques.

  • Experience with experimental design and assay development.

  • Excellent aseptic technique and experience with mammalian and/or primary cell culture.

  • Experience with flow cytometry instrumentation, maintenance, and software (Flow Jo).

  • Uses scientific principles and engineering fundamentals to solve problems.

  • Independently motivated with ability to multi‑task, problem‑solve, and coordinate activities within a team.

  • Desire and drive to learn and passion for their impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through oral presentation and technical writing.

Compensation Overview

Seattle – WA: $88,430 – $107,151

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full‑time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job‑related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
