The Senior Scientist will serve as an integral member of the R&D team, executing workflows thatspanprotein science and antibody discovery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Discoveryworkflow:lead and executehands-onantibody discovery tasks, includingbinding domain selection, ELISA-based screening, and DNA sequence analysis
• Proteincharacterization:develop and perform biophysical characterization of antibodies using fit-for-purpose approachesforhigh-throughput discovery needs
• Flexibleprojectexecution:providetimelysupport,adapting toprojectneedsin a dynamic environment,supporting bothdiscovery screening and protein characterization as needed
• Collaboration &communication:design and execute experimentsandeffectively communicate results to a cross-functional team of biologists and protein engineers
• Datamanagement:
  
  Ensureaccuratedocumentation and reporting ofexperimental results, including sequence-to-function datasets
• Project coordination:
  
  Work with internal teams and external CROs to coordinate activities and ensure successful execution of deliverables

The ideal candidate will be a flexibleandquick learner witha strong foundationinprotein sciences and molecular biology.

• Broad understanding ofantibodydiscoveryprocess, especiallyas pertains to binding domain generation and selection
• Familiarity with discovery screening assays (such asELISA andotherhigh-throughputassays)
• Working knowledge ofDNA sequence analysis(Benchling,Geneious, etc.)andbasicmolecularbiologytechniques
• Experience with
  
  BLI(Gatoror Octet) foraffinity measurement, kinetic analysis, and epitope binning
• Solid understanding of protein develop ability assays, includingapproachesto characterize andoptimizecandidates forformulation and manufacturing
• Familiaritywithprotein purificationtechniquesusing chromatography (SEC, IEX) forlabscale production
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse disciplines

• Ph.D. degree in molecular biology,biochemistryor related fieldwith3+ years of industry experience,ormaster’s degree in molecular biology,biochemistryor related fieldwith5+ years of industry experienceorbachelor’s degree in molecular biology,biochemistryor related fieldwith
  10+ years of industry experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
