What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter suspicious behavior and enhance security-related awareness.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during patrols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required by site protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential criminal activity within the financial institution environment.
- Adhere to all legal and company requirements regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
