As a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Banking in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. • Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and maintain professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to deter suspicious behavior and enhance security awareness.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and activities during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential criminal activity within the financial institution environment.
• Adhere to all legal and company requirements regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
