• Provide customer service to clients and visitors following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report irregularities such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and local authorities as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to deter potential security-related concerns within the government facility.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (or 18 for unarmed roles, 21 for armed).
• Possession of a guard card or license preferred; state, county, or city issued security license also preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicant subject to background investigation and drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
