As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves driving throughout the property, interacting with guests and staff, and providing outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for shoppers and tenants.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter loitering or disruptive behavior within the retail or mall environment.
• Provide information and directions to visitors and tenants as needed, maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
