As a Security Officer - Mall Security Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide a visible presence throughout the property. This primarily driving post offers the chance to interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to a welcoming environment while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the interior and exterior of the retail location to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site-specific procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters and support a positive environment for tenants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
