As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, store associates, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and appropriate authorities.

+ Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with training and company policy.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.

+ An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
