As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel at public transportation facilities while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A Guard Card/License is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
