As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for passengers, visitors, and employees. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, platforms, entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol findings, and shift activities.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
