The Senior Technician - Security will provide efficient and high-quality installations related to integrated security systems. This position will require a high level of project involvement, including the physical installation, testing, and closing‑out process.

• Serve as the subject matter expert and mentor to assigned team of technicians
• Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Security systems at customer sites
• Installation will include, but not be limited to:
  Video NVR/Servers, IP Cameras, Access Control Devices, Intrusion Devices, Head End Panel Installations, Intercoms, Wireless Devices, Switch Gear
• Perform assigned projects within scope, in a timely manner, and on budget
• Provide customers with system operation and training
• Excellent attention to detail, including maintaining concise daily records and following operational standards and practices
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Adhere to all applicable safety rules and regulations
• Review material options and verify count accuracy
• Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
• Facilitate the delivery of staged materials to the jobsite
• Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling
• Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other equipment
• Work in confined spaces as necessary
• Email or telephone notifications may be required for night shift or other change‑of‑shift coverage

• 5+ years of work experience as a Senior / Lead Technician with a security integrator (including current manufacturer certifications)
• Industry experience working with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems
• Valid US driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening
• State of Washington Electrical License or card

• Industry experience in Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, Utilities, Financial & Hospitality sectors
• Video Surveillance knowledge of Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Bosch, Axis, Hanwha, Exacq
• Access Control knowledge of Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec, Identiv, Honeywell, Open Path, RS2, S2, AMAG, Gallagher, Open Options
• Intrusion knowledge of DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Bosch
• Locking Hardware knowledge of Maglocks, Strikes, Mortise, Cylindrical, ADA applications
• Data Terminations experience
• Field engineering or estimating skills
• Experience updating blueprints on Bluebeam
• Experience with Procore, Fieldwire, Smartsheets, or similar tools
• Experience with programming, testing, and training end users on various security systems
• Out‑of‑town travel work if required
• Vaccinations may be required by our customers, especially for any worksite location in the health‑care industry

• Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems and find solutions
• Ability to use sound judgment and perform under pressure
• Ability to operate as part of a team
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service and positive attitude

• Regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
• Use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on a keyboard; reach with hands and arms.
• Talk and hear; specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Use of power tools required.
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to work at heights over 1.8m.

• Exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job sites, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Confined space entry may be required.
• High work demands may be required.
