• $35.00/hr – $40.00/hr pay rate
• Potential 90‑day performance‑based raise

8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Tuesday–Saturday, five 8‑hour shifts per week.

We’re looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team in South Seattle. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment including tractors, trailers, reefers, and yard equipment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, punctual, a strong team player, and willing to work hard in a fast‑paced environment.

• Preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of equipment such as tractors, trailers, lit gates, reefers, and yard goats.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and complete repairs.
• Repair and maintain R&R truck components including engine, transmission, axles, brakes, lift gates, etc.
• Diagnose engine/transmission, A/C, electrical, suspension, and steering issues.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy diesel engines, machines, and related systems, including lift gate hydraulics and transmissions.
• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Work on and maintain refrigeration trailers and box trucks.
• Complete required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

• Knowledgeable in the diagnosis and repair of all makes of electronically controlled diesel engines; fleet experience is a must.
• Mechanical and diagnostic knowledge and/or experience in diesel engines and refrigeration units.
• Basic welding skills and knowledge of TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable with the use of factory scan tools.
• Professional mechanics toolbox.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Cummins and Detroit certifications.
• Reefer maintenance experience.
• Class A license is a plus;
  Class B preferred.
