Multi-Site Maintenance Technician - Arrive Belay

Description

As a Multi‑Site Maintenance Technician, you will perform interior and exterior preventative and repair maintenance in our apartment communities, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliance-related work. You will coordinate with residents, guests, and team members while upholding safety and operational standards.

Compensation

$25–$28 hourly, depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses.

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with shared on‑call rotation. All properties located in Seattle (Ballard and First Hill).

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day‑to‑day duties for two or more apartment communities.
  • Conduct maintenance work, resident requests, punch lists, building inspections, preventative maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Demonstrate safe use of hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Participate in apartment inspections for move‑ins and move‑outs.
  • Maintain inventory of basic personal tools (hammer, screwdriver, adjustable wrench, tape measure, flashlight).
  • Organize, maintain, and use provided supplies cost‑effectively.
  • Perform on‑call service requests and emergency calls as needed.
  • Present a professional appearance aligned with company image.
  • Communicate community concerns to the supervisor.
  • Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum one year of maintenance‑technician experience; multifamily experience preferred.
  • Experience in at least two trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting) preferred.
  • Basic computer and internet knowledge; use of on‑site resident‑management software preferred.
  • High‑school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Accurate basic math skills.
Professional and Technical Proficiencies
  • Building systems (heating, cooling, ventilation).
  • Electrical (GFIs, fixtures, circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches).
  • Plumbing (toilets, sinks, disposals).
  • Appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
  • Light carpentry, drywall, door/window hardware.
  • Window screens and blinds; wall molding and caulking.
  • Countertops, cabinets, vinyl, ceramic flooring.
  • Weather preparation and cleanup, including bulk trash removal.
  • Inspection of common area mechanical and storage rooms.
  • Make‑ready tasks as required.
Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and reach using arms and hands. May climb occasionally. Requires close and distance vision, color perception, and ability to detect auditory/visual alarms. Must be available for extended/flexible hours, including weekends.

Attendance & Travel

Full‑time position requiring availability for occasional nights, weekends, and holidays; regular attendance and participation in company events is required.
