Shift/Hours: To be determined
Pay Rate: $30 - $35 /hr DOE
Location: Seattle, WA
The Valve Technician will perform hands on maintenance, troubleshooting / assessment, and repair work on valves (Block and / or PSV) based on the associated skill level traveling to / from customer sites and / or a Bay Valve Service service center. Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Valve Technician Job Duties and Requirements:
- Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of valves and actuators in both a workshop setting and on-site at customer facilities.
- Disassembles, inspects, and reassembles equipment while ensuring work and materials comply with manufacturer specifications.
- Conducts routine safety inspections and adheres to all company policies, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Reads and interprets schematics to perform failure assessments and creates all required quality assurance and control documentation.
- Interacts with customers and fellow employees to understand needs, provide recommendations, and organize daily tasks efficiently.
