We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialization in Psychiatric Behavioral Health to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing exceptional care to patients with mental health needs. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple units, including 5WA, 5WB, and 5MB, as necessary.

5WA:
This unit accommodates 21 beds and primarily caters to less acute cases, with approximately 50% of patients being involuntary admissions. Group programming is incorporated, and staffing ratios range from 1 : 3-4 during evenings to 1 : 6-7 during the night shift.

5WB:
With 25 beds, this unit offers some programming and maintains staffing ratios of approximately 1 : 3-4, with a slight increase during the night shift to 1 : 4-5.

5MB:
This unit, housing 21 beds, focuses on the most psychiatrically acute cases, emphasizing observation and stabilization. Staffing ratios are tighter, ranging from approximately 1 : 2-3 during the day to 1 : 4-5 during the night.

Patient Population:
Patients admitted to our facility may exhibit violent or assaultive behaviors, psychiatric crises, or co-morbid medical conditions. Many patients are involuntarily detained and require intensive monitoring and interventions.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

First-time applicants are welcome if they possess robust clinical experience.

Weekend rotation required every other weekend.

Block scheduling accommodation not available.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.

Scrub Color:
Provided by the facility or solid color.

Charting:
Utilizes Epic with HARDSTOP.

Parking Cost: $20.00 per day.

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement:
