We are looking for a Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Case Manager to join our team on‑site in Seattle, Washington. The VASH Case Manager will ensure compliance with VA service providers and HUD‑VASH program requirements. They will assist veterans in obtaining documentation such as birth certificates, driver’s licenses, income verification and any additional information requested by the housing authority or landlord.
The Case Manager will coordinate with the local Public Housing Authority, identify landlords with available Section 8 housing, and help veterans complete apartment applications and moving arrangements. Knowledge of Washington landlord‑tenant laws is required.
- Assist veterans with obtaining necessary documentation (birth certificates, driver’s licenses, income verification, etc.)
- Coordinate with the local Public Housing Authority and landlords to secure Section 8 housing.
- Help veterans complete apartment applications and organize moving arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with VA service provider and HUD‑VASH program requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for each veteran served.
- Salary: $6,000–$7,250 per month (DOE/Credentials). Additional 5% language differential offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
VASH works directly with veterans to navigate complex systems—rental applications, HUD subsidy applications, benefits systems, public transportation, and more—providing support to maintain stable housing and promote independence in the community. Columbia Care Services participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Qualifications- Master’s‑level clinician, licensed to practice independently, or actively pursuing master’s licensure verified by the Washington State Department of Health.
- Completion of VA’s VASH orientation and training.
- Ability to travel (mostly within King County).
- BLS certified.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass VA background check and maintain a safe driving record.
- Physical ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, and bend.
- Experience with housing programs such as Section 8.
- Knowledge of Washington landlord‑tenant laws.
