This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will design and deploy test systems and software for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of component, sub-assembly, and vehicle level testing. We develop ground test data acquisition and control systems based on NI Compact

RIO, Compact

DAQ, PXI, and other hardware that will test fluid, mechanical, and electrical development and flight systems of our engines and launch vehicles. Our team provides support for business units and programs across Blue Origin for critical development, qualification, and acceptance  this role, you will be responsible for adopting and integrating client side and front end technologies into our existing platform, supporting our backend with our embedded real-time software and server side software, and modernizing our legacy desktop application software into our web and cloud based platform.

Additionally, you will participate in code reviews of your co-workers, write automated unit tests and integration tests in conjunction with our Dev Ops and System Engineers, and build support systems for users and application engineers to customize their or own front ends. Further, you will be expected to deliver, educate, and support our group's platform for the internal test teams within Blue Origin.

*** Design, deploy, and manage automated testing and deployment processes
* Develop front end web applications for test engineers
* Research and adopt the newest and latest front end technologies
* Participate in code reviews and teach peers different applications of front end technologies

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering. Other engineering or science degrees or work history will be considered if experience in above responsibilities is met
* 5+ years of direct software engineering experience interfacing with backend APIs
* 3+ years of experience with a front-end web technology such as React, Vue, Svelte, OR similar
* Demonstrated proficiency coding with LLM’s
* Experience leading a major project from inception, to production including owning its requirements, architecture, design, implementation, with contribution from fellow developers
* Desire to work in a driven, fast paced, and dynamic environment
* Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and champion an inclusive culture
* Ability to travel up to 10%

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience working in aerospace, regulated industry, and/or a test environment
* Experience bootstrapping a medium to large project, integrating new open source and commercial softwares into platforms with the ability to build infrastructure and tooling to support it
* Experience building user Interfaces and improving user experiences
* Experience with C#, LabVIEW, Python, C++, Docker, AWS, Git-CI, Linux, Windows
* Knowledge in scrum or agile practices
* Knowledge of electrical control systems and industrial sensors and actuators: pressure, temperature, LVDT, bridge, accelerometers, and motion/servo controllers### Compensation Range for:
