Software Development Senior Software Engineer API Integration Payments Platform Server-Side Programming

We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Senior Software Engineer to join Vimeo’s Payments team. As part of our team, you'll help build and scale our Payments Platform, which is responsible for enabling the sale of all products and services on Vimeo. You will be involved in pricing, packaging, checkout experience, subscription management, fraud prevention, internal tooling, and payment operations. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to move key projects from conception to launch;

develop, test, deploy, and monitor software on our Payments Platform to improve product offerings, fraud detection, compliance strategy, and user entitlement tracking; improve our tooling to identify and debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack. Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• Experience with at least one server-side programming language (PHP, Python, Go, Java, Ruby, Node, etc)
• Knowledge of relational database systems (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, SQL Server, etc) and data modeling techniques
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
• Ability to mentor and support more junior engineers
• Ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• A good eye for details; you catch bugs frequently and can provide meaningful feedback on the technical complexity of proposed solutions
• Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
• Experience developing with Restful APIs

Base Salary Range:

NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $150,000 - $207,000
All other US cities outside above metro areas: $135,000 - $186,300
