Backend Engineer

We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale the systems that power our products. You’ll work with modern technologies across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms, contributing to solutions that impact millions of users. This role is perfect for an engineer who wants to grow technical depth, learn from senior mentors, and have a direct hand in shaping high-performance, secure, and scalable enterprise software.

What You Will Do:

• Design, implement, and optimize backend services and APIs that power core product functionality.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on system architecture and design decisions.
• Work on cloud-native services, microservices, and data pipelines that support global scale.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Learn and apply cutting-edge enterprise technologies while developing your craft as an engineer.

Core

Languages:

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
• Exposure to Go, Rust, or Node.js is a plus

Cloud and Infrastructure:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Jenkins
• Infrastructure as Code basics (Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloud Formation)

APIs and Services:

• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Exposure to Graph
  
  QL or gRPC a plus
• Experience working with microservices and service-to-service communication

Data and Streaming:

• Familiarity with relational databases like Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL
• Experience with caching and No
  
  SQL systems such as Redis or MongoDB
• Understanding of event streaming platforms (Kafka or Pulsar is a plus)

Security and Observability:

• Understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
• Basic security practices in backend development
• Monitoring and logging with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design
• Experience developing and deploying production systems in a cloud environment
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code
