OCI is expanding its mission beyond the traditional boundaries of public cloud to include dedicated, hybrid and multi‑cloud, edge computing, and more.

In the Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value when it comes to cloud infrastructure. We’re embarking on ambitious new initiatives such as building new innovative platforms, high‑performance data plane primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and a new service platform that will allow us to run the full variety of OCI services, including our most demanding, high‑performance, high‑availability services.

We are looking for engineers to join an incubation team that initiates, prototypes and hands off new projects that have broad business impact in OCI. This team is working on a long‑term incubation of a new platform designed to power OCI services. The platform will include low‑level execution runtimes, application management, and high‑level workflows for change management. Our mission is to enable OCI developers to focus on building innovative services, while we ensure those services operate efficiently at cloud scale.

• Collaborate with multiple teams to build the next generation OCI Service Platform.
• Design, specify, and develop software for new projects, and perform tasks related to design, development, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals).
• Experience with software development, preferably in Java.
• Experience building and operating software as a service.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.
• Preferably, experience with OCI.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus.

Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 - $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
