Senior Software Developer – Oracle

Join Oracle as a Senior Software Developer and build cutting‑edge incident analysis tools for OCI.

We are seeking an experienced full‑stack engineer to design and develop scalable solutions that enable OCI to scale analysis of incidents, operationalize findings, and measurably validate improvements in incident response and system availability KPIs.

• Lead development initiatives enabling the transition from an ITIL change model to a Dev Ops operating model.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and tools, ensuring alignment with OCI’s cloud strategy, compliance requirements, and advanced change management principles.
• Design and implement algorithms, data models, and automated workflows for safe and efficient change processes.
• Define and implement policies that align with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Implement closed‑loop mechanisms to continuously improve operational hygiene.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of Oracle Cloud deployments, identifying and addressing operational risks through software‑driven approaches.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative software solutions into development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Type Script, building robust and scalable full‑stack solutions.
• Experience as a senior‑level software developer with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system development.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring a team of developers.

US Hiring Range: $79,200 - $178,100 per year. Eligible for bonus and equity.
