• Manage and mentor a team of C++, Type Script, Android, and iOS engineers in a fast‑paced, quick‑to‑market environment
• Set strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver
• Set the direction for Snap’s largest open‑source project and grow a community
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor
• Hire, grow, and retain high‑performing team members

• Background building high‑availability and mission‑critical systems
• Experience leading an engineering team
• Ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical work experience
• 8+ years of post‑Bachelor’s software development experience (or Master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 3+ years)
• 1+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
• Hands‑on experience with mobile development (iOS or Android)

• Experience with cross‑platform mobile frameworks
• Proficiency in one or more of: C++, Type Script, Android, or iOS Development
• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative environments
• Experience contributing to or leading an open‑source project

In the United States, compensation includes a base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary ranges vary by zone:
Zone A ($229,000‑$343,000), Zone B ($218,000‑$326,000), Zone C ($195,000‑$292,000). Eligible for RSUs.
