Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Hybrid (3 days a week onsite in Kent, WA)

We have an amazing opportunity for an established SDET to join a well‑funded and well‑positioned startup to contribute to the growth of a successful B2B SaaS product. In this greenfield development environment you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to drive seamless releases.

This is a high‑impact role with a lot of ownership in a rapidly growing startup environment.

• Develop, automate, and execute end‑to‑end tests to validate real‑world user workflows
• Build, scale, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Review pull requests (PRs), understand code changes, and ensure adequate test coverage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, high‑quality releases
• Perform API testing to verify data flows between frontend, backend, and external systems
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and UX teams to improve test efficiency
• Monitor and refine automated test strategies to support frequent deployments and maintain system stability

• 8+ years SDET experience
• Strong experience in end‑to‑end testing for B2B SaaS applications
• Proficiency in Type Script, C#, or Java and experience writing test automation
• Hands‑on experience with modern UI Automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
• Bachelor's in Computer Science
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Super Test)
• Strong understanding of test automation best practices, including Page Object Models (POM) and reusable test components
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment, ensuring efficient test execution and quick releases
