To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote, but requires you to be located in either the US Pacific or Mountain time zones. We're looking for a Back End Software Engineer to join our team, focused on delivering creative improvements for our engineering teams.

• Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences.
• Configure monitoring for backend services.
• Build CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop integrations with our content management system.
• Build features and services with reliability in mind.

• 2+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST.
• A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting.
• Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node).
• A love for working collaboratively on a team with varied strengths. If you've got these skills, even better:
• Experience working with an enterprise content management system.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Java experience.
• Freemarker experience.
• Rust experience.

The baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, and we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

• Zone A: $147,600 - $192,700
• Zone B: $133,200 - $173,900
• Zone C: $123,300 - $160,975

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
