Aboutthe Role
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the charge in redefining CI/CD for modern cloud development. In this critical role, you will architect the data‑driven foundation to demonstrate transformational improvements in engineering efficiency, leveraging both industry standard and tailored metrics. You will help set new benchmarks for what’s possible in CI/CD automation across Oracle engineering.
Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
Define and drive the vision for the next‑generation CI/CD platform, providing technical and business leadership in a fast‑paced environment. - Data‑Driven Insights:
Establish and operationalize frameworks for measuring and improving engineering efficiency using DORA and customized metrics to deliver actionable insights for product investment decisions. - Product Lifecycle Management:
Drive roadmaps, requirements, and cross‑functional alignment for features spanning pipeline orchestration, infrastructure‑as‑code, observability, and developer experience. - Persona‑Driven Product Design:
Engage deeply with engineering, operations and leadership personas, ensuring products address evolving needs in large‑scale, cloud‑native environments. - Market & Competitive Analysis:
Research, analyze, and communicate industry trends, competitor activities and cloud‑native practices to inform strategy. - Leadership & Mentorship:
Mentor a high‑performing team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, SRE and Developer Relations. - Evangelism:
Represent OCI’s CI/CD vision to executive stakeholders, customers and developer communities.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including roles in cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops platforms or large‑scale SaaS environments.
- Proven track record managing complex product portfolios and driving measurable business impact.
- Dev Ops Expertise:
Deep, hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, code repository management (Git, Git Hub, Git Lab), infrastructure as code, observability and modern delivery practices. Prior experience as a professional software engineer or in leading Dev Ops SaaS platforms is highly desirable. - Cloud‑Native Proficiency:
Extensive experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices and IaaS/PaaS services. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP and/or OCI. - Data‑Driven Decision Making:
Adept at leveraging data for prioritization, investment decisions and clear reporting across multiple metrics to diverse stakeholders. - Technical & Business Acumen:
Ability to bridge the gap between developer needs and business objectives; skilled in articulating value propositions for multiple audiences, including OCI’s internal teams and external customers. - Developer Advocacy:
Extensive experience engaging with engineers and SREs as core customers. Proactiveness in challenging established norms to drive significant transformation. - Collaborative Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams across organizational boundaries.
US:
Hiring range in USD from $82,500 – $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
