We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead a software team responsible for developing solutions to scale and optimize AI infrastructure for customers’ AI workloads. In this role, you will set and communicate priorities and expectations to a team of strong developers working on cutting‑edge technologies. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance our AI infrastructure to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Own and build solutions to scale and optimize partner model integration to improve customer experience and workload performance.
  • Set and communicate individual expectations and team goals that align with broader organization goals.
  • Model and coach team members and drive modern software engineering practices, such as using data/telemetry to make decisions, establishing well‑defined interfaces, conducting design reviews, enforcing coding standards, carrying out code reviews, and ensuring comprehensive coverage from unit tests, integration tests, and active production monitoring.
  • Prioritize the team’s work with a focus on customer issues and requirements.
  • Ensure that team solutions are well‑defined, modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, compliant, and reusable.
  • Create a roadmap, define SMART goals, and track team progress against committed OKRs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • BS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in software development with programming languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Go, and Rust.
  • 2 years of experience in people management or leadership while working on cross‑functional projects.
  • 3 years of experience designing and developing large‑scale distributed systems, services, and infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project‑management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure with hundreds of thousands of servers.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Range and Benefit Information

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $118,300 – $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors and internal peer equity.
