About the Team

The Web Infrastructure team owns common infrastructure and low-level shared components that enable Anduril web engineers to focus on building Lattice applications. We handle the entire web development experience from setup, local development, build, and automated testing through release. We develop the common app building blocks used across Anduril’s customer-facing web applications, including internationalization/localization, logging and error monitoring, and observability frameworks for logging, metrics, and error tracking.

Our charter is to increase development velocity and provide engineers with tools and infrastructure to build high-quality web applications that support our mission.

About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join as an early member who will significantly impact how Anduril builds and ships web software. In this role, you will design and implement tooling that increases engineering velocity and product quality across the organization. You will work across the entire stack to identify pain points and create solutions that improve development experience and infrastructure.

This requires expertise in web technologies, build systems, and understanding developer workflows. If you have high empathy for fellow engineers, take ownership of problems, and are passionate about creating tools that empower others, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain tooling that increases engineering velocity and product quality

• Proactively identify pain points and opportunities to improve the development experience and infrastructure

• Work across the stack (front-end, back-end, build, CI/CD) to get things done

• Support and mentor fellow engineers on engineering best practices and tool usage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent industry experience

• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, version control, automated testing, and other technical tools

• High empathy for fellow engineers (our customers)

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bias for action and ownership; track record of solving problems

• Experience maintaining continuous integration systems (e.g., Circle

CI)

• Experience with monorepos and modern build systems (e.g., Bazel); familiarity with Bazel is used at Anduril

• Experience or interest in Go

• Experience with gRPC/protobuf or similar technologies
