Senior Software Engineer, Pixel – Google

Google’s Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. As a Senior Software Engineer you will help shape the future of Pixel devices and services through advanced designs, technologies, products, and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop large‑scale data ingestion and processing pipelines.

• Build systems to fine‑tune, evaluate, and visualize the performance of ML systems.

• Manage the release of face‑authentication model drops for in‑market and unreleased Pixel devices.

• Expand the existing authentication infrastructure stack to support other devices and ML teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Compensation

US base salary range: $166,000 – $244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
