Position: Software Developer 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python and Java Developer with CI/CD experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software applications using Python and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, microservices and experience working in an Agile environment.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $68,500 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  • Paid time off:
    Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

    Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Python and Java
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Implement automated testing and deployment scripts using tools such as Pytest, Unittest, or JUnit
  • Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in software development with Python and Java
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest, Unittest, or JUnit
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
