Software Engineer - Frontend

At Andesite, we are building a product suite to supercharge cybersecurity analysts. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing our application frontend systems that enable cybersecurity analysts to derive maximum value from data sources for our next-generation product.

• Build and Innovate:
  Lead the design and development of sophisticated and intuitive user interfaces for our product. Translate complex user requirements into elegant, user-friendly frontend experiences.
• Set the Bar for Engineering Excellence:
  As a senior technical leader, establish best practices for frontend development, ensuring high-quality, performant, and reliable code. Advocate for modern frontend technologies and patterns.

  Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine user experiences. Shape the visual and interactive aspects of our data products to be powerful and delightful to use.
• Mentor & Elevate the Team:
  Guide and mentor junior frontend engineers, fostering technical and professional growth and a culture of continuous learning.
• Cross-Functional Impact:
  Contribute to API and backend development and collaborate with teammates building those systems. Your understanding of frontend and data systems will be crucial.

• Passion for delivering products that delight customers using next-generation AI technology
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of frontend development experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte), including at least 4 years with React
• Experience developing responsive, scalable frontends and APIs with strong data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 2+ years of experience in an early-stage (Seed / Series A) startup
• Proficiency in backend/infrastructure development, especially in Python

Salary range
: $200,000-$260,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
