Summary
Meta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a leader in the tech industry, we are looking for someone who can drive innovation, collaboration, and technical proven experience.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and proven experienceDevelop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectivesFoster a work environment of continuous learning, growth, and improvementMinimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical managementBS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teamsPreferred Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in mobile application development (Android and/or iOS)Demonstrated understanding of software development best practices, including design, testing, and deploymentProven communication, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience building and scaling connectivity layers or networking stacks for mobile platformsIn-depth knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, UWB, and NFCTrack record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software in a time‑sensitive environmentExperience working in cross‑functional teams and collaborating with product and design stakeholdersExperience in mentoring and developing engineering talentCompensation
$213,000/year to $293,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
