Aurora is seeking a Software Engineer for the Map Build's Geometric Generation team to own the 3D spatial foundation of the Aurora Driver. You will process millions of lidar logs into offline maps, addressing speed and scaling as Aurora expands to new routes.
Responsibilities include designing geometric map-generation algorithms, improving runtime, and collaborating across teams to define data contracts and integration requirements. A strong background in C++ and 3D geometry is required.
