This role leads the migration from onprem Documentum to Open Text's platform. The engineer configures the new environment, analyzes existing integrations, and ensures compatibility with upgraded CCS Java and Web Methods components. Kiro will be used to accelerate integration mapping, dependency discovery, and remediation planning.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, administer, and validate Documentum environments
- Plan and execute migration of repository structures, customizations, workflows, and API interactions
- Redesign Java ? Documentum integration points for compatibility
- Analyze current integrations using Kiro to surface impacted API calls and configuration gaps
- Configure metadata models, security, retention, and operational policies
- Troubleshoot Documentum services, REST APIs, and DFC behavior
- Support testing, cutover planning, and post migration stability
- 5+ years Documentum engineering/administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Documentum APIs, DFC, REST services, and content server internals
- Experience with upgrade/migration planning for Documentum
- Ability to interpret and validate AI assisted analysis outputs
- Experience with Open Text platforms
- Familiarity with Java based integration patterns
