Coach – U-District | Seattle, WA

Help our community chase and achieve their health and fitness goals by teaching, motivating, and inspiring them through your words and actions!

Duties

• Warmly greet and send off athletes and drop-ins with a smile.
• Assist with membership inquiries, questions, and adjustments.
• Give a professional, detailed, and informative tour of Industrious to potential clients.
• Lead group classes and provide instruction on safe and proper movement, correcting movement when necessary.
• Create a fun, energetic, and inspiring athlete experience and environment!
• Operate membership sales software efficiently and effectively: create athlete profiles, set up and adjust memberships, etc.
• Complete InBody 270 certification. Assist members in testing and results analysis.
• Help uphold facility standards: stock retail, clean and stock restrooms/showers, vacuum and mop floors, etc.
• Attend team meetings.

Required Skills & Certifications

• CPR & AED (must be obtained within 60 days of hiring)
• Must be comfortable working in a noisy fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and customer service
• Highly attentive to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and learn on the fly
• Positive, energetic, and fun attitude and demeanor
• Passionate about personal self growth and development

Education and Experience

• High school level education or higher
• 1-2 years customer service (preferred)
• 2+ years fitness experience
• Previous coaching experience of any sort is a plus

Schedule:

• Exact Schedule TBD
• Monday through Sunday shifts available
• Must be able to work some weekends
• 1 – 5 days
• 2 hour shift minimum
• Part time: 2 – 20+ hours

Compensation:

• Starting at $20/hour
• Higher compensation considered based on experience and certifications
