Job Description: Equinox's Seattle locations are seeking passionate Barre, Pilates, and Dance Instructors.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering the Equinox Experience in each class;
- Adhering to class descriptions and modifying intensity as needed;
- Monitoring exercise intensity throughout classes;
- Starting and ending classes on time;
- Teaching regularly with minimal substitutions;
- Communicating with the Group Fitness Manager about feedback, equipment, and scheduling.
Qualifications: Candidates should have:
- Current certification in Pilates Mat / Barre or respective discipline;
- Teaching experience;
- Current CPR/AED certification;
- Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, contraindications, and modifications;
- Eagerness for professional growth;
- Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.
Physical Requirements: Ability to run, jump, walk, bend, and demonstrate all movements effectively.
Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per class; $17.25/hr for non-class work.
