Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Boys Swim and Dive Assistant Coach for the 2025‑2026 season. Applicants should be 21 years or older, possess a valid Washington State driver’s license, and hold current First Aid/CPR/AED and Lifeguard certifications. This position reports to the Athletic Director.
Season & ScheduleBoys Swim and Dive is a winter sport. The season runs from November 17 – February 21, 2026. Practice and competition times vary throughout the week, and coaches are expected to be available between 3 pm and 8 pm from Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities- Supervise student‑athletes during all team activities.
- Practice and maintain coaching strategies to promote technique improvement and skill development.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaching colleagues, and parents.
- Foster sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
- Develop players within a unified program and uphold ethical and safe training environments.
- Compliance with Bishop Blanchet High School, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school level.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED and Lifeguard certification.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Stipend: $2,300. Salary determined by internal equity and applicant qualifications. Stipends are paid in one installment, halfway through the competition season. The position is not benefits eligible. The role offers access to professional development and BBHS Athletics apparel.
