Aircraft Fueler – Menzies Aviation

Role Purpose

The aircraft fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling and defueling of aircraft at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with regard to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety and security policies and procedures.

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, driving and operating fuel trucks, hydrant cards and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Handle fueling carts and hoses that require lifting and moving up to 70 lbs.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience is preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
