Job Description
This role involves working as part of a smaller team on a swing shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The Material Handler is tasked with transporting products between facilities in the South Park area of Seattle and assisting the Material Handling team with material requisitions. This position demands high accuracy and efficiency in retrieving and delivering products.
Responsibilities- Assist in loading and unloading products using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Backfill other team activities, including material requisition and receiving.
- Work efficiently and maintain productivity without direct supervision.
- Use computers and tablets to log warehouse movements.
- Pull orders, scan products using a tablet, and ensure SKU accuracy.
- Occasionally assist at another warehouse located two miles away.
- Maintain a proactive approach to work, especially during slower periods.
- Demonstrate hustle and quick movement during busy times.
- Material handling experience.
- Proficiency in using forklifts (sit down and stand up) with at least 3+ months experience.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer and tablet skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic warehouse and receiving processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Professional demeanor with co-workers, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English clearly.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency in using a hand truck and pallet jack.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
