- Current dental hygienist license in FL with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene where required.
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
- Experience in a clinical setting as required by the office.
- 1 year minimum experience.
- Ability to perform essential duties as determined by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; not applicable in FL & TN.
