• Current dental hygienist license in FL with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene where required.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
• Experience in a clinical setting as required by the office.
• 1 year minimum experience.

• Ability to perform essential duties as determined by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; not applicable in FL & TN.
