This is an outside sales position responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing referral relationships within Indian River County or St. Lucie County
.
The Sales Representative will work in alignment with Activa Home Care's mission, vision, and core values
, focusing on building trusted partnerships and generating consistent home care referrals to meet monthly admission goals
.
This individual must possess a proven track record in marketing strategy implementation
, relationship-building
, and business development
, ideally within the healthcare or senior care industry.
- Develop and expand a strong network of referral sources within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain productive relationships with hospitals, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, and other community partners
- Create and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive referral growth
- Conduct regular outreach, in‑person visits, and professional presentations to potential referral partners
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless coordination of client admissions and care transitions
- Track referral activity, measure success, and adjust strategies to achieve sales goals
- Proven experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or business development (home care or home health experience preferred)
- Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Knowledge of the local healthcare market (Indian River or St. Lucie County preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Detail Oriented - capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
- Flexibility - inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goals
- High School (preferred)
- 1 year basic knowledge of physicians, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities
- Basic knowledge of case management and discharge planning services
- Ability to regularly travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings (required)
- 1 year knowledge of sales techniques - must be capable of developing sales strategies and achieving quotas (required)
- 1 year minimum of 2 years healthcare sales experience working with various healthcare partners and an understanding of the overall healthcare industry (required)
