Compensation: $55–$65 per session
Program Overview
We are looking for a creative and energetic instructor to lead an afterschool “Mystery & Escape Room” enrichment program for upper elementary students. In this highly interactive class, students work together to solve puzzles, crack codes, and complete themed challenges designed to build critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Each session transforms the classroom into an engaging escape-room-style experience where students must collaborate, think logically, and stay persistent to “unlock” solutions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging, game-based learning sessions for Grades 3–5
- Prepare puzzle materials, clues, and activity setups for each class
- Guide students through problem-solving without giving away answers too quickly
- Maintain structure, pacing, and excitement throughout activities
- Support positive teamwork and inclusive participation
- Manage classroom behavior using clear and supportive strategies
- Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment
- $55–$65 per session, depending on experience and assignment

Qualifications
- Background in education, enrichment programs, game-based learning, or youth camps
- Experience with puzzles, logic games, escape rooms, or STEM enrichment
- Creative mindset and ability to adapt activities in real time
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in group settings
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to lead structured activities with energy and enthusiasm
- Dependable, organized, and able to facilitate interactive learning
