Horse & Plow is a small, family-run winery and cidery based in Sebastopol, California. We are looking for a Tasting Room Associate & Events Coordinator to join our team and assist with all aspects of the guest experience, including coordinating private and large events. This position will also manage our social media. The ideal candidate will have an interest in fine wine & cider, experience in hospitality, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

For this full-time position (4-5 days a week) we will offer a competitive hourly wage, plus tips, bonuses, and other benefits. Horse & Plow has become a destination in Sebastopol and a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

• Communicate in a knowledgeable, professional, and gracious manner.
• Pour glasses of wine and cider and prepare tasting flights.
• Light food prep, including preparing cheese and charcuterie plates.
• Assist tasting room manager and other staff in the daily operations, as well as special projects as needed.
• Coordination and outreach for private and large events.
• Manage and grow our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Maintain tasting room environment by ensuring that it is inviting, clean and appealing.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of wine and cider and a willingness to learn specifics about our techniques and products.
• Experience coordinating private events is preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Horse & Plow produces small quantities of handcrafted, organically farmed wines and local, dry ciders. Our established tasting room, in the heart of the Russian River Valley, is a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike. We offer an extensive selection of our delicious beverages for customers to enjoy in a parklike setting. We host live music and special events throughout the year, making for a fun, festive, fast-paced work environment.
