We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and to develop and conduct individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct subjective assessments of patients' speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation and administer objective tests to assess communication assets and liabilities.
  • Structure and implement individualized patient programs to improve communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust the program as needed to maximize progress.
  • Document progress in the patient’s chart, including notes, charges, discharge notes, and patient communication.
  • Consult with the Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients.
What qualifications you will need
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
