Job Description- Prepares sterile dressings and cleans instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient. Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy.
- Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately. Other duties as assigned.
- Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Obtains scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures.
- Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.
High School Grad or Equiv (Required). Technical/Vocational School (Required). Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay Range$22.88 – $42.54
