About the role

At Burnetti, P.A., our Pre-Litigation Case Managers play a critical role in helping injury victims navigate the claims process and achieve favorable outcomes. Working closely with Attorneys, you will manage personal injury cases through the negotiation and settlement phase before litigation becomes necessary.

What you'll do

  • Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through pre-suit settlement and resolution.
  • Prepare, review, and submit comprehensive demand packages to insurance carriers.
  • Evaluate claims and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
  • Conduct client interviews and gather information necessary to advance claims.
  • Analyze insurance policies and identify available coverage.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients.
  • Request, review, and organize medical records and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor case progress and alert attorneys to significant developments.
  • Review medical records and bills for accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtain and negotiate medical liens following settlement.
  • Prepare settlement documentation and closing paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records within the case management system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plaintiff Personal Injury Case Manager.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims, insurance coverage, liability, and settlement negotiations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred

  • Experience with case management software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
