Seasonal Beauty Advisor role at Ulta Beauty.

Seasonal Beauty Advisor provides exceptional experience for guests, engaging each guest to determine individual needs, performing cashier tasks, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. Supports leadership with focus on performance, people, and process.

• Contribute to store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing, answering questions, informing about promotions and sales, recommending complementary products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book and support appointments and in-store events to deliver guest experience and sales goals.
• Stay informed on new products and services, knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Contribute to inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests.
• Share benefits of loyalty program, credit, app.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to grow business.
• Participate in ongoing training and brand education.

• Be knowledgeable of and comply with policies, procedures, standards.
• Adhere to dress code.
• Drive sales by keeping area replenished, signed, faced, testers available.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory, shipping using technology.
• Protect assets by following loss prevention best practices.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team.

• Work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout store.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting.
• Lifting, carrying, moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
