Whatever you can spare, a few hours a week, or several hours a day, we need your help! Civilian volunteers provide technical and administrative support in a wide variety of areas.

NoteAll volunteers must successfully complete an interview, background investigation, a polygraph examination, and a drug-screening.
Volunteer descriptionsSee minimum requirements for specific volunteer descriptions below. Volunteer duties may vary depending on your interest and desired level of involvement. The Department of Public Safety offers a broad range of volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to:
- Chaplain (must meet minimum requirements)
- Highway Motorist Assistant
- Office Assistant Volunteer
- Security Receptionist
- Marketing Specialist (web development)
Civilian reserves must be at least 18 years of age, residents of the state of Arizona, and citizens of the U.S.
