Role
:
Associate Brand Manager (Hybrid) – Marketing professional responsible for assisting the Brand Management Team in the development and execution of marketing and innovation/renovation plans that deliver sales, market share, and profit growth targets for their category. Responsibilities include forecasting, new item development, graphics and packaging improvement, consumer communication/support, and SKU/inventory management. Develop deep understanding of category, consumer, competitor, customer, channel dynamics, and the internal P&L.
This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ corporate headquarters with a hybrid schedule.
- Assist in identification and development of new products, product improvements, packaging improvements, and line extensions; develops 3C/4P analysis and development; partners with R&D.
- Analyze and summarize results of market research and POS data.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance drivers (POS-based and internal shipments) and develop accurate forecasts.
- Develop insightful, clear, and impactful sales presentations to support new products and educate on category trends/consumer understanding.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive activity, new products, product improvements, and market/channel trends within the category.
- Assist in SKU portfolio management for the category and inventory with cross-functional teams.
- Support consumer communications/promotional activities, working with Hartz agency of record on 360-degree activation.
- Provide support to cross-functional project teams and day-to-day management of business issues and opportunities.
- Forecast volume and participate in S&OP process with Sales, Operations Planning and other parties.
- Develop P&Ls for new and existing items to evaluate pricing/cost/trade support changes.
- Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator on packaging design development/approval.
- Develop materials to execute consumer market research studies.
- Maintain IRI database integrity for the category.
You’ll Need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; minimum 1 year of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) Brand Management.
- Analytical
Skills:
Working knowledge of IRI/Circana and Nielsen POS and Panel Data. - Market Analysis: Experience conducting market research and P&L analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Business Travel: Willingness and ability to travel domestically a few times a year.
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $115,000. This role may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award, based on qualifications and experience.
