Schedule

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change and may require late shift hours of up to 11 pm for special programs.

• Handle all in-park ticket & membership sales
• Validate tickets and admit entry into the park and various exhibits/attractions
• Direct guests to park vehicles in designated parking locations
• Actively promote and inform guests about our diverse assortment of premium products; such as memberships
• Process all transactions through the ticketing point-of-sale system
• Assist with the operation of the New York Aquarium 4D Theater

• Minimum age of 16 years or older
• Customer service oriented and experience working with the public
• Basic verbal, written, computer, mathematical, and communication skills
• Must be comfortable with handling cash and equivalents, previous cash handling experience preferred
• Proactive and outgoing nature – work efficiently and ability to multitask
• Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 25 pounds – such as boxes of maps, and signs
• Dependability and reliability
• Ability to stay outdoors for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Salary Range
