Manager, Treasury - Finance/Treasury

About the Role

Ashley Stewart, Inc. is seeking a Treasury Manager to join our Finance team. This critical role is responsible for managing all aspects of cash and credit card transaction processing, ensuring compliance with lender requirements, maintaining strong banking relationships, and overseeing the Treasury Analyst. This position plays a key part in safeguarding the company’s liquidity and financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile corporate bank accounts and prepare daily cash projections.
  • Review and distribute weekly cash reports.
  • Provide guidance and escalate unresolved issues with banks.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
  • Manage transactions in JPM Access.
  • Serve as admin for online banking and credit card portals.
  • Prepare Borrowing Base Certificates.
  • Compile and submit compliance reporting.
  • Review and validate bank account analyses, address discrepancies with bank representatives.
  • Monitor daily store deposits and address related issues.
  • Develop and maintain treasury-related budget items.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, with leadership or managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and financial compliance.
  • Proficiency with Net Suite and online banking platforms (e.g., JPM Access).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage external banking relationships.
  • Experience preparing compliance documentation and working with lenders is a plus.
  • Position is based in our Home Office located in Secaucus, NJ (5 days a week)
